Build a Better Biden
Many voters, Berners, and now AfterBerners were largely uninspired by the establishment juggernaut thrusting Joe Biden back into the realm of viability and then the nomination. As Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's words still remind us when contemplating the limited role of forward progress in the political system, “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle.” Our role now must be to struggle to make the agenda put forth by Bernie a reality, and if Joe Biden becomes the torchbearer of those policies, each will be a remarkable victory for our work. Simply put, this organizing committee's focus is the adoption of Bernie's policies by Joe Biden.
#Not Me, Senate2020.US
“Not Me Us” isn’t just a campaign slogan, it’s a method. Whatever movement(s) make the difference in voter turnout for candidates running to replace Mitch McConnell's Senate will have the most leverage in insuring our political, social, environmental, and economic policies become reality. Want to guarantee that there is firewall if Trump remains in the White House? This committee aims to do just that. It's strategic. It's a proven method for winning in our new electoral landscape. And... it's going to work if we have enough dedicated committee people moving the program forward!
MaskerAid!
We Fight for Someone We Don't Know, and we also want to know them! Support volunteers in precincts nationwide wishing to meet those who may need #MutualAid by wearing your #MedicareForAll mask, a mask with Bernie's smile printed on it, or any other mask we'll teach you how to print at home and share with others. Then, meet others near you who request help or offer help to those in need of support during the on-going Covid-19 crisis.
We Got The POWER - employed or not, this is Your Union
The Popular Organization of Workers for Economic Restructuring -- or The POWER -- is the effort to give once organized voice to the 25 million newly unemployed, the millions of already unemployed in the US pre-pandemic, and those forced to make brutal choices as workers in an economy built to serve the greed of a ruling class. As Michael Parenti declared, "There's only one thing the ruling class has ever wanted, and that's everything." If this is your committee, you'll be helping to awaken, mobilize, and organize the response we need to a war on those who've been made dependent on our system instead of democratically in control of its long-overdue replacement.
The National Intervention on Addiction to Money in Politics
Bernie Sanders was the only presidential candidate of either major party to pass National Intervention’s #SobrietyTest for the addiction to corporate power & money in politics. The test simply asks for a commitment to amendment language affirming that a) corporations are not people and b) campaigns are only publicly financed – for One Nation Under the Influence, this is the most basic of pro-democracy stands any sober official or candidate can make. The #SoberSenator went on to announce that his platform would be the “12 Steps Forward Agenda,” just what Interventionists have called for in a National Recovery Platform.

National Vote By Mail
There's a growing and valid concern that this year's entire electoral process may prove to be even more of a sham than the preventable irregularities of voter repression of the past. During the waves of the pandemic, sending the election to every voter will be a vital means of protecting a democratic process in 2020.
Run 1,000 for a OurCongress
Want to see 435 Berniecrats in the House? Want a 100 in the Senate? That takes a 1,000 good candidates, with a platform, not just a party. Imagine finding and elevating candidates committed to wartime transitions for climate, emergency Medicare for All implementation asthma result of the pandemic, and an amendment that asserts corporations are not people so that we can guarantee 100% free and fair elections so we can make it, and the rest of the 12 Steps Forward Agenda a reality. A clean slate, free of the grip of corporate power and greed in federal government isn’t just up to one presidential candidate. It depends on us, our willingness to run for office or support those of us who can and will. AfterBerners want to see the bold vision of OurCongress realized, and we believe that, together, AfterBerners like you can make it happen.
